Help Us Raise The Clock!

The Halifax Village Business Association has a new project that we feel will benefit all Halifax County citizens. We are raising funds to purchase a clock for the courthouse/town area. The clock will be a 16'1" 4-dial post clock that blends with the recently revitalized historic area of our county seat.

With this end in sight, we are hosting the Halifax Wine Festival on Saturday, June 21st, from 1:00 until 7:00 pm, at the Mary Bethune Sports Complex. The festival will feature at least seven wineries from various areas of the state, allowing festival goers to sample a variety of wines. Along with the great wines of Virginia, there will be local food vendors as well as local antiques and crafts vendors, preparing for a day of fun and friendship for all. We have two bands scheduled to provide musical entertainment.

In order to cover the costs of the event so that all ticket sales will benefit the "clock fund," we are asking for sponsorships. The sponsorship levels are as follows:

CHAMPAGNE - $750 donation - 12 tickets, full page ad in the Wine Festival Brochure, radio and newspaper advertising, four VIP parking tickets, three complimentary bottles of wine from the winery of your choice.
MERLOT - $500 donation - 8 tickets, half page ad in the Wine Festival Brochure, radio and newspaper advertising, two VIP parking tickets, two complimentary bottles of wine from the winery of your choice.
CHABLIS - $250 donation - 6 tickets, quarter page ad in the Wine Festival Brochure, radio advertising, one VIP parking ticket, one complimentary bottle of wine from the winery of your choice.
CONNOISSEURS - $100 donation - 2 tickets, listing in brochure
